  • Condition: Some scrapes and scratches, the soft rubber/vinyl head of the astronaut has absorbed some age soiling, I was unable to clean it off-this could just be my poor cleaning skills. Some corners/edges have the paint rubbed, some loss of paint there. Takes batteries, works as far as movement and the wheels, and the TV lights up, but there are supposed to be red lights, I believe (the tail lights- jet boosters?) , and they don't light up-unknown reason for that, may need new bulbs? I did not investigate. Partially works as intended, may be repairable.     Vintage Tin Litho Astronaut Rocket Ship with Television Battery Operated TELEVIBOAT Partially Works...................Box 32: televiboat
    This item has a 3 day Shipping/Handling time. When possible, it will ship earlier.
    Partially working, MAY NEED REPAIR -could be used for parts. Tested, comes on, wheels work, Tv lights up, but not the back lights. Approx. 13.5" x 7" x 5" . Tin (or Stamped Aluminum)  lithographed rocket ship, futuristic looking. Made in Red China. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND READ ALL INFO BEFORE PURCHASE. In the true form of the early tin litho toys  (this one is probably stamped Aluminum) of Martians, Astronauts and Space Monsters, this is a "Spaceman" wearing a soft vinyl "Helmet" and holding up a TV or Television. I'm not sure of the significance of that, it's almost as though it is supposed to be a Video Recorder, but isn't . The TV has a light inside, and this one DOES light up , but could be brighter. The wheels turn and rotate and it is somewhat wild when you use 2 "D" cell batteries. (NOT INCLUDED). The battery compartment is clean- PLEASE SEE PHOTO. I think there are supposed to be Red Lights on the back jet boosters, like tail lights, but they don't light up on this one. MAY NEED REPAIR OR RELACEMENT. Needs Repair, only PARTIALLY WORKS.  PARTS ONLY.
