Vintage Russian Moon Rover Battery Operated Space Toy

This unique toy space vehicle was manufactured in Soviet Russia likely in the early 1970s. The Moon Rover is made of plastic and is about 9 inches in length. I purchased the toy recently from Russia in working condition but I'm unsure exactly which batteries are used so I haven't verified its operation. The battery compartment is clean as shown, and the often broken or missing plastic battery cover is present and 100% intact. The toy is in great overall condition with only minor scuffing on the clear dome to note. The Moon Rover moves with bump-n-go action as the radar antenna rotates and the red beacon flashes. The original box has much wear as shown in the photos but does have some nice graphics.
