VINTAGE 1984 Lil Playmates Playworld SPACE STATION, VEHICLES, FIGURES
Very Rare, Limited - Deadstock
Lil Playmates Space set includes:
5 vehicles, each with a number:
-02: Explorer (yellow seat, blue wheels, with white hitch)
-03: Missile Launcher RX-10 (orange seat, blue missile turrets, grey satellite-dish, white missiles, white hitch and blue wheels). Lift the dish and the missiles pop out from the turret. Works, after 34 years!
-04: Commander (White body, grey gull-wing doors- both work!, black bottom and blue wheels). Wheel axles tilt up and down to go over uneven space-terrain! Totally functional.
-05: Shuttle (white body, grey guns, grey thrusters, blue wheels)
-07: Saucer (White body, blue door, red gun, orange bottom, grey thrusters, grey legs- legs flip into bottom and out [see photo]. Missing one leg
Space Station:
-labelled 06, I guess to go with the vehicles
-White body, grey windows, orange gun turret and red guns, orange toggles.
-Two movable parts controlled by toggles: Elevator and gun turret. Both work perfectly! After 34 years! Incredible!
-Inside station has a small mission control table
-Top should have satellite dish, that fell off sometime in the '90s (included)
Figures:
-6 human astronauts (4 red suit, 2 yellow suit)
-2 alien figures (1 blue, 1 green)
-Extra human probably from some other set
-Assorted extra bits!
Condition is Used.
Packed with fond memories of my childhood, would highly recommend for anyone collecting 80s toys or looking for retro art for their apartment.
