Vintage Japanese NOMURA diecast metal STARBLAZERS Space Battleship Yamato 1/850

Original Vintage Nomura Toys 1/850 scale Chogokin Space Battleship Yamato toy With box! The ship is from the famous 1970's Leiji Matsumoto Japanese animation series Space Battleship Yamato. The diecast battleship measures approximately 12 inches long and has an impressive display presence! The diecast battleship is nearly complete with a complement of 8 out of nine original missiles. 5 of the large missiles and all 3 of the extremely small missiles. The Yamato also includes two of the cosmo tiger star fighters. The original stand for the ship is in great condition, however shows some wear on the sticker. The ship displays well, showing little to no wear on the thick glossy paint. However, the body of the ship does show some spots of discoloration, this may unfortunately be the result of oxidization on the metal. All of the small plastic antennae and gun barrels are intact. The inner white styrofoam tray is in great condition for its age, showing little to no discoloration or flaking. The box is in over all nice condition for its age. There are no major tears, however there is corner and edge wear. Despite the wear, the Space Battleship Yamato (or Argo to StarBlazers fans) is an amazing piece for any Leiji Matsumoto, anime, or scale ship collection!
