Please take a careful look at all the pics and ask questions.  This is a pretty scarce toy. Very hard to find in my opinion. This one appears to be unused for the most part.  The toy itself is exceptionally clean.  The Martian appears never to have been inflated. It came in a torn bag so flat it appeared that this was from the original packing. I cannot confirm this as it was opened and the box condition is not strong. So I did not inflate the Martian.  The Walking mechanism comes with its original insert (not shown but present and intact). It is temperamental. It took a bit of coaxing to get it to work. After finally getting it to roll properly, I turned it off to restart it and repeat the run and the gears would not engage properly. It has been sitting for decades in a personal collection without being run at all. It could just need some running and seating of the batteries and gears. Worst case, consider it in non-working or in need of some repair and adjustment.  The box is intact but is has wear as shown, again from decades of storage. Hinges are delicate.  One top flap is neatly separated from the box body.  See pic #2.  The box has spotting and some small holes from insect damage. The instructions are present but quite rough from insect damage.  Still quite a scarce item and an exceptional find with a toy this clean.
