Apollo 11 Capsule and Lunar Lander, mini Viking and Skylab satellites, mini Saturn V and Delta 3920 rockets. Celebrate 50 years!
Branded by Play Visions of Woodinville, WA, but made in China circa 1998.
Really good box with a few bends in the right side. I'd say VF-NM condition. The capsule cone is removeable, and has 2 doors that open (the smaller of them has a really bogus "hinge", so watch for that to fall out and get lost). I did not check to see if the lander fits in, but I really doubt it. The Lander splits into 2 (for return to earth!) so it's really more than 6 pieces, if you want to be technical.
The following applies to the whole collection. Each box includes a NASA sticker, visible in pictures. These toys have some minimal moving parts, like the shuttle bay opens, astronauts arms and legs move, and the
Landing module separates into 2 pieces to leave the legs behind when you leave the Moon, but the rockets. satellites and capsules are inert and there are about 4 different size scales among the 6 different sets.Only one small branding logo for Play Visions and no date. Never heard of them. Never opened, stored smoke-free, kid- and pet-free for 2 decades.Some packages do have shipping (or storing) damage but the figures, capsules, and rockets are intact and "Near Mint" except as loaded.
Oddly, all 3 6-pc sets re packed in the same window box and have the same bar code for item #20016. All 3 2-pc sets are also in the same box with #20014. I bought these from Diamond when they were new and they travelled to Calilfornia in 2003 and have been in cool, dry storage ever since. I'm checking condition for the first time. Three 2-pc sets and three 6-pc combination sets available.
