Mamiya 16 "Automatic" Subminiature Camera 25mm F2.8
Condition is for parts not working.
Would make a great James Bond type movie prop or possibly it could be used again if film were available.
Thumb-Winder works as normal.
Shutter fires at all speeds however sometimes the the 2nd blade of the shutter is late.
Seems like the more you click it the less that happens.
Diaphragm works (looks to have only 4 blades).
Focus is smooth and appears to move element(s) in the lens.
Counter works.
FP Synch terminal works (was tested)
Lens cover / Shutter Lock works.
Filter holder slides - however there is no filter there.
Meter quickly responds to light however glass is loose one side near the needle.
Will need to be carefully re-cemented.
It is unknown if the meter is accurate.
Exposure ISO/Shutter/calculator with coupled Diaphragm F-number control works.
However with meter accuracy is unknown.
Meter-set-exposure pic is shown with 1/25 sec f11 as indicated by the meter and then set on shutter speed (an artificial light source moving the needle for the pic).
When the exposure calculator is set with 1/25 lined up with the needle, the f-number is "automatically" set to f11.
The term Automatic is used on the camera however by today's standard it is not automatic in any way.
Film compartment looks OK (pics).
Camera may have other issues not listed.
Anything could or can go wrong with it and it is being sold for parts not working
