Sadly the car does not move and the blower does not work. The light however does work (photo'd). The battery compartment is clean so it looks like you are going to have to open her up and do some tinkering. If you never handled one of these they are similar to a bump-n-go. You place it on the ground and it does does random patterns. Also there is a blower on the back. If you look at the 2nd photo those are Styrofoam balls that (if working) you would place on the smoke stack and they float when air is supplied from the motor.
There is a small plastic detachable antenna that is missing from the hood. The box has no damage but has some pen writing on the top.
The condition of litho is very very good. I did not find any big scratches, dents or damage. Looks almost new. The plastic pieces have no broken pieces and no hazing of the windshield so you can see the "strange" looking driver doing his thing. Not sure what they were going for on this one. Looks like a Japanese Rockstar from the 70's. Dating is a little hard on this toy. I found a marking on the box that said "1998" but I think it is a factory code. There is a lot of old listing that state "1968" and judging by the aging and feeling of the plastic I think this would be close to dating. The measures 12" long and as far as tin toys go its pretty large. It will surly be a prized piece to show off in the collection from the eastern block.
