You are buying/bidding on a 1999, NEAR MINT IN BOX, beautifully detailed, 1/48 scale IPI TOYS labelled "EXPLORATIONS IN TIME" APOLLO 11: FIRST LUNAR TRANSPORTER DEVICE featuring the APOLLO 11 CSM 'COLUMBIA' and the LM 'EAGLE' along w/accessories including astronauts, a simulated 24 inch lunar surface and instruments including the seismometer, TV camera, laser reflector, U.S. flag, stereo surface camera and solar wind experiment. Opened once in '99 then stored away for 22 years out of the light.  Pix shows box with features-- toy separates into segments, too- [command module from service module; ascent stage from descent stage.] THIS IS AN IPI TOYS SET OF THE APOLLO 11 LUNAR LANDING MISSION. "TOY" IN THE ORIGINAL BOX.  Original owner; obtained in 1999 when toy was marketed in conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Apollo 11 mission. Been up in a closet out of the light. Great detail on it for a 'toy'; has a push-button on the base of the LM which produced a sound recording of NEIL ARMSTRONG saying the first words on the moon. [Needs fresh batteries.]  Tape seals loose/open as seen in the pix due to age and opened once in '99-- tried to show it all. Clearing out my space toy collection
