1978 Vintage Retro Milton Bradley Electronic StarBird Spaceship Sci-Fi toy

Up for auction is a 1978 MB StarBird Spaceship. The ship is incomplete and there are no electronic sounds or lights when you turn it on. The vehicle has no broken parts, it is however missing several pieces to the craft, the good news is there are lots of replacement parts to be found on the interweb. Concerning the electronic portion of the spaceship, it is pretty basic wiring, probably needs the contacts to be cleaned possibly, it still looks cool!

launched  StarBird in 1978 it was a plastic spaceship that came in three main parts, these were the electronics housing, an outer shell for the electronics housing, and the main body and wings.
The ship would make engine sounds along with laser noises and flashing lasers.
A ball bearing switch would make it sound as if it was taking off when the nose was pointed up, and landing when pointed down, a button just behind the cockpit would fire the lasers.  Two small fighters could be detached from the wings and a rotating gun was fitted midway down the main body.
