    Description

    This is a SCARCE 1796 Liberty Cap Large Cent LIHERTY Variety in AG condition.  These are VERY SCARCE in all grades.  The obverse shows a fully outlined Liberty head with most letters in LIHERTY showing. The date is not very clear.  It was marked as a LIHERTY variety when I purchased it and I do believe it is accurate. The H is quite clear and has attributes of a the H variety with a thickness on the right side as well as added metal on the right side top and bottom. Check the photos for yourself.  The reverse has some letters and some of the wreath showing.  A nice brown planchet with some porosity showing.  An affordable example of this very SCARCE date.  Low opening bid.  Fast shipping with 1 day turnaround.
