1794 S.22 Head of 1794 Liberty Cap Large cent, PCGS VF details, code 95 for scratched.  Whatever!  Yes, there are some light, ancient scratches found on the reverse, but they are simply not of significance when contemplating this coin.  Oh, and we must take issue with the whole VF Detail things as well.  This coin has XF details, all day, every day.  That very strong level of detail, the lovely, original chocolate brown color, the smooth character of the surfaces overall, clearly take precedence in our minds.  Is this old cent perfect?  No, no it is not.  Is it darn nice, truly presentable, highly collectable and likely to be cherished by it's next owner?  Yes, yes it is.  This coin should be in an XF45 holder, in our humble opinion.  Good luck!
