    Description

    1793 chain cent pcgs S1.
    This is a nice low grade example of the very first American  large cent . It has nice details for the grade. Liberty the bust with eye and other details  of the bust visable
    The 3 of the date is very faintly visable. The date is always very weak on the s1 even in higher grades.
    The reverse  is nice with a full  chain
    The legend is about 60%complete with the all important AMERI visable
    One cent  along with the fraction  is visable
    It does  have scratches and dings which goes  along with the grade.
    All and all This is a very nice coin for the grade. I have seen coins graded good with less details
