is a armor case constructed of nickel plated brass.  It offers protection to the liquid in glass thermometer from shock and rough handling during use. This case will accept any of the 12" lab thermometers.
The front is slotted for ease of reading and it features a threaded screw cap with a ring for suspension applications. The bulb end has multiple perforations to allow use of a thermometer while
encased in the armor.
